Less than two weeks to go before our American shows!
It is less than two weeks away before we return to the US for two shows On the 15th November we will perform at the Mercury Lounge in New York and on the 18th November at the Viper Room in West Hollywood.

Fiction Plane set to return to the US
In November we will return to the US to play two special shows in both New York and Los Angeles. On the 15th November we will perform at the Mercury Lounge in New York and on the 18th November at the Viper Room in Los Angeles.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale Friday, 1st October 2010.

Montpellier showcase cancelled
We regret to announce that the showcase that was scheduled to take place at the Virgin Megastore in Montpellier on the 28 September has been canceled for reasons beyond our control.
The other showcases will still take place as planned.

French acoustic showcases announced.
During the French part of our fall tour we will performing a number of exclusive acoustic showcases at Virgin Magastore and FNAC.
We perform at the following locations:

The Hall Effect to support Fiction Plane on the first leg of the European tour
Unfortunately, The Parlotones have been forced to cancel the first leg of our upcoming tour together. We are happy to announce that the talented Colombian band The Hall Effect will join us during our French and Spanish dates. In Holland we will be supported by a number of great up-and-coming Dutch bands. We will be supported by the LaLaLies (Amsterdam), Left (Eindhoven), The New Shining (Utrecht) and Monks Avenue (Groningen).
We will still support The Parlotones on the second leg of the tour which starts on the 20th October in Vienna, Austria.

Out Of My Face Music Video.
We recently wrapped up production for our new music video “Out of My Face” at a deserted army base in Plymouth, UK. The video was shot with director Joel Mishcon and director of photography Neil Gordon. “Out of My Face”, the second single from our latest album,Sparks, will hit radio end of August and the video will be premiered beginning of September.

Fiction Plane to return to London
Following our successful performances at Glastonbury and Hoxton Bar and Grill, We will return to the UK on the 11th October to perform a one-off show at Bush Hall, London. This as part of our fall European tour.

Fiction Plane Music to be featured in "The Sorcerer’s Apprentice"
We are excited to announce that the song “Denied” from our new album “Sparks” will be featured in the summer blockbuster “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, starring Nicolas Cage. Premiering in American theaters on July 14th and internationally the following weeks , the film is about a master sorcerer in modern day Manhattan who is followed by his newfound apprentice to try and defend the city from their arch nemesis.

Joe confirmed as special guest at Symphonica in Rosso.
Joe has been confirmed as special guest at this year’s Symphonica in Rosso which will take place on the 16th and 17th October at the Gelredome in Arnhem, The Netherlands.

Spanish date added to our fall tour
We have added a Spanish show to our fall tour. We are excited to return to Barcelona on the 29th September to perform at the LA2.
We will be supported this evening by The South African band The Parlotones.

New Fiction Plane website
Welcome to the new Fiction plane website!
The new album "Sparks" is being released in Europe (excl. UK) on May 10th 2010 is available for pre order now! The album will also be released on May 10th through digital platforms in the UK, Australia, Asia and South America.
A North American release is to follow soon. You can hear the first single "Push Me Around" on our music player now!
To download an exclusive track please register for our mailing list at our download page of our website, (we promise not to give your email to anyone!).
