Anyone ever notice that when Seton plays his solos, he almost never plays the same solo twice? It's one of those little things I always look forward to when seeing FP live.

Just wanted to toss that out there.

Yes it is. I'm trying to figure out the chords and solos of the new album but can't figure out what Seton is playing in Revenge. Does anyone has an idea? Maybe Seton can help me out ;)

    Hello Bigbalie

I dont read music and dont have tab so will have to try and tell you in my own way.

The bottom E to me is the one i am closest to (the lowest string) then A, D, G etc. and its in standard tuning.

The first chord is as follows:

Third finger plays bottom E string on fret 9
Second finger plays D string on fret 7
Fourth finger plays G string on fret 9

Second chord is identical but you move the shape up to fret 16

Third chord is a straight E Major bar chord played on the 12th fret

    Fourth chord same as first
Fifth chord is B Major played on the 7th fret
Sixth chord is again a E major on the 12th.

    Thats most of the song.

The bridge is a wierd A chord:
First finger on D string fret fret 7
Third finger on G string fret 9
Low A string B and high E played open.

The 1st chord and the Bmaj in the verse quickly pass in the middle of the bar if you get me.

    Middle 8 is A maj , A maj / G# to F# min. The F#min to G#min 4 times then hold on the B maj

    Hope this helps

    Seton

Sorry got something wrong on that first chord. Its meant to be fingers 3, 1 & 4 for that chord and the one after. Not Fingers 3, 2, 4.

Thank you very much Seton. I've been watching all videos of Revenge on YouTube just to figure out that weird first chord ;) I haven't got the time now to play the whole song but I've played the main chords, the rest I will figure out later. I'm going to make a tab of it so other people can play it easily.
If you feel like sharing more of your guitar music/tabs/things, please do! Some photos of the chords are also suitable (the forum has got my mail) When you are in Holland again, maybe you can teach me more of the songs on Sparks ;)
    For now, thank you!

    Rick
