I wasn't aware they had a US label last August for the Mercury Lounge gig.

Anyway, just trying to show there is a US fanbase too, not just in France and the Netherlands.

@lindy - it's really difficult to have patience when we haven't had a tour since 2008. And don't forget, you guys were also lucky to have access to the Paradiso CD/DVD, which also was not released over here. The last thing released in America was the regular version of Left Side.

2 years of patience is an extremely difficult thing to deal with.

I know the biz in America is difficult, but the guys have been telling us to "be patient" since the last US tour ended.

Sorry for venting, it's just not a fun situation to be in.

YES!!!! We need a US tour! Those 2 random gigs in NYC do not count. We have been plenty patient...and have traveled quite a bit (I went all the way to France and Amsterdam!!!) Give us another shot guys!

wow clover, did you come over specifically for the band? or were you planning on coming over anyway? that's quite a trip to make!
i thought amsterdam - rotterdam (which was about 1,5 hours) was quite the undertaking haha

@moena-the trip was just to see FP but of course I did quite a bit of sightseeing as well. It was well worth it...and of course the Paradiso gig was the best FP gig ever!

And I'm not the only one who has traveled over 3,000 miles to see FP!

The closest they have come to where I live is about 600 miles, but I was already in the neighborhood. I always have to hop on a plane if I want to see them. They have never been within driving distance.

People laugh that I have a savings account strictly for Fiction Plane travels. :)
